EINSIEDELN – MONASTERY & HYRACK

Einsiedeln is one of the most important Roman Catholic place of pilgrimage. It is reachable from the hotel within ten minutes by car. The Benedictine monastery are from the middle age and possess a statue of the black Madonna. In the Museum Diorama you can admire the worlds largest hyrack with more than 450 hand carved figures.

Winter is the time for winter athletes to ski down the pists. During the summer brave people dash with 90km/h over the tirolesa. With its unbelievable 2.3 km is counts to the longest Ziplines in the world. It is located only 30 minutes from the hotel. On top of that there are numerous hiking trails through the mountain range.
