Seebodenalp, Rigi
Take the cable car directly from Küssnacht to Seebodenalp – the sun terrace of the Rigi. Once you reach the top, many hiking options and a breathtaking view waiting to be explored. The rustic mountain inns and a variety of barbecue sites offer an individual time-out in the heart of pure nature.
Scheduled boat trips
Fresh lake air and a breathtaking landscape await! The Lake Lucerne Shipping Company departs several times a day from Küssnacht am Rigi to Lucerne – a city full of sights and attractive shopping opportunities. Those who prefer to take a more leisurely cruise can book the approximately two-hour "Küssnacht round trip".
Staldenmatt Lido, Immensee
This bathing area is accessible free of charge and is a popular destination on Lake Zug. Equipped with changing rooms, toilet facilities, barbecue area and bistro, the lido is a charming spot for swimming, sunbathing and relaxation.
Stoos
The world’s steepest funicular railway takes passengers from Schwyz right into the car-free mountain village of Stoos. The mountain village high above Lake Lucerne offers a wide range of mountain sports and possibilities for family excursions. The additional ride on the chairlift to the top of the Fronalpstock is rewarded with a view of over 10 lakes and countless mountain peaks.
